About Claire's: Claire's is a leading international speciality retailer offering value-priced costume jewellery, accessories, cosmetics and apparel to fashion-aware tweens,
teens and young adults through its two store concepts: Claire's Accessories (North America and Europe) and Icing by Claire's.
Claire's Accessories is the Company's core business. It has long been the leader in the fashion accessory and jewellery business. Claire's Accessory stores are focused
on "what's hot" for pre-teens aged 7-12 years.
At the end of fiscal 2003, Claire's operated approximately 2,912 stores throughout North America, the U.K., Ireland, France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, and Japan. The stores are approximately 1050 square feet in size in North America and 580 square feet in the U.K., Europe and Japan.

Regional Manager:
- To provide leadership and direction to achieve company goals.
- To implement Claire' strategies to increase the branches profitability within the region.
- To act as liaison between the field and Central Office, providing insight and direction on field needs and concerns.
- Managing a designated group of District Managers.
- Maximising Sales and Control of Regional Operations.
- Merchandising, Layout and Control.
District Manager:
- To provide leadership and direction to Branch Managers and their teams within a district of stores.
- To implement Claire's strategies to increase branch profitability within their district.
- To report into a Regional Manager on all issues affecting the business and operation.
- Maximising branch KPI's.
- Merchandising, Layout and Control.
Branch Manager:
- The Branch Manager is responsible for managing and controlling the overall operation of the store in line with Company policies and procedures.
- To review budgetary targets, achieve the necessary operating standards and customer service levels to secure required profitability.
- Recruit, train and develop all Management and Staff to increase their abilities in order to perform their duties effectively, and are prepared for progression tomore senior positions.
Assistant Manager:
- The Assistant Manager reports to the Branch Manager and is responsible for maintaining the effective operation of the store in absence of the Branch Manager.
- To provide guidance to and monitor the work of the Sales Assistants to ensure that productivity and customer service standards are sustained at the highest level.
